Ever just grabbed the nearest pair of safety glasses?

So many people do.

The scratched pair that always fogs up. The one that's never actually been checked against a safety standard. Most days that doesn't matter.

The one day it does, there's no going back.

Eye injuries don't heal like a cut or a bruise.

A $40.00 pair of safety glasses tested to AS/NZS 1337.1:2010, CE EN 166 and EN 170 is a small price against that.

Call it what it is.

A Fit For Every Face.

Every face is different, which is why EyeGuard comes in multiple frame sizes with two nose bridge options, so your glasses feel comfortable all day.

Zero Fog. Zero Compromise.

Two adjustable nose bridge fits keep the lens off your cheeks, so air moves and fog stays away, without giving up an inch of certified protection.

Stay Put. Even Looking Down.

EyeGuard's anti-slip arm, adjustable nose bridge and gentle temple shape hold your fit steady through every head-down movement, no making adjustments on the go.

What Our Customers Are Saying

I recently ordered some pairs of safety glasses and the prescription insert + lenses and am a massive fan. Jason was fantastic with quickly getting my order together (even with the prescription lenses), and really went the extra mile to check to make sure what I ordered was right for me.

After having the glasses in hand I was super impressed with the build quality but especially the optical clarity on both the safety glasses and the lenses - I almost didn't want to put my regular glasses back on! This bit is personal taste, but in my opinion these are the coolest looking safety glasses you can get, and they definitely have a high-tech/futuristic look to them that looks great in a lab coat.

Major props to everyone at Hogies for making a genuinely fantastic product while still keeping up a personal level of customer service. I will certainly be a repeat customer!

Choose your bridge

Which nose bridge is right for you?

If your glasses slide down your nose, dig into your cheeks, or shift when you look down, that's not something to live with. It's a bridge problem, and it has a fix.

Close-up of the Hogies EyeGuard Standard Bridge
Standard Bridge

Standard Bridge

Shaped for higher nose bridges. Sits naturally in place across most facial profiles, no adjustment needed.

  • Your glasses generally stay put through the day
  • You have a higher nose bridge
  • Most safety glasses already fit you well

Extended (Asian) Bridge

Extended (Asian) Bridge

Engineered for lower nose bridges and higher cheekbones. It lifts the frame off your cheeks, so it stays where you put it instead of sliding down or settling onto your face.

  • Your glasses slide down your nose by midway through the day
  • The lens rests on your cheeks instead of your nose
  • You have a lower nose bridge or higher cheekbones
Shop Extended (Asian) Bridge

Not sure which is yours. You can squeeze the bridge gently at the point of purchase to fine-tune the fit, a one-time adjustment if the lens is still sitting on your cheeks.

Every EyeGuard Safety Glasses is AS/NZS 1337.1:2010 and CE EN 166 / EN 170 certified, whichever bridge you choose.

A legacy of optical engineering

A legacy of optical engineering

Hogies was built to solve a problem, not follow a trend. Professionals who depend on their vision were being let down by the equipment meant to protect it: fogging lenses, unstable frames, pressure headaches and optical distortion.

The engineering discipline behind Hogies traces to Martin Hogan, whose early anti-glare eyewear was worn by NASA astronauts on Apollo and Skylab missions, then adopted by the Royal Australian Air Force. That standard, precision with no tolerance for compromise, shaped every product that followed: EyeGuard safety glasses, MediView loupes and lighting, and Hogies Sport eyewear.

In 2003, the MediView frame won an Australian Design Award for industrial design. That same award winning frame is still the foundation of every loupe Hogies builds today.

Jason Hogan has carried the standard forward, growing Hogies into a multi category optical brand trusted across healthcare, industrial and performance fields, without changing what it stands for: clarity, stability, fit, comfort and certified protection.

Frequently Asked Questions

When will my order be shipped?

We ship in-stock products within 1-2 business days.

Do these fog up?

EyeGuard's multiple nose bridge fits keep the lens off your cheeks, so air can move and fogging stays away, all without compromising certified protection.

On top of that, a hydrophobic coating on the lens repels water and rain and resists smudges and fingerprints, so there's less to wipe away.

Two separate benefits: fit keeps fog away, the coating keeps the lens cleaner.

How do I know what size to order?

90% of adults wear Adult Size. A size guide with measurments is above.

What's the warranty and return policy?

EyeGuard Safety and Sports Glasses carry a 6-month warranty against faults. Change-of-mind returns are accepted within 30 days of receipt if unused.
