SINCE THE 1960s
Precision Eyewear. Trusted Worldwide.
Founded in Melbourne in the 1960s by Martin Hogan, Hogies was built on one belief: eyewear that people depend on cannot afford to fail.
That belief took the business into places most eyewear companies never go. Martin designed anti-glare eyewear worn by US astronauts on Apollo 12 and Skylab. Jason Hogan, Martin's son, leads the business today.
Professional eyewear for people who rely on their eyes.
From clinical precision to sport and everyday performance, Hogies designs eyewear that fits properly, protects fully, and holds up across long hours of real use. Certified, independently tested and built to last.
Loupes. Safety. Sport.

60+ Years of Optical Innovation
Hogies was founded by optical practitioner Martin Hogan in Melbourne in the 1960s. From fitting patients in clinics to travelling across regional Australia delivering eye tests to remote communities, Martin built the business on one principle: eyewear has to perform when people depend on it.
In 1990, his son Jason joined the business. That same design philosophy, grounded in real-world use and honest problem solving, continues to guide every product Hogies makes today.
